I've been through many ipods, and got sick of the poor battery life and low sound quality. I have many CDs ranging in genre, and they sound amazing on this unit along with a pair of Audio Technica AD-700 Audio-Phile grade cans, absoultly amazing sound quality that cant be beat by any ipod/mp3 player. This unit does the job for me, good battery life compared to an ipod which you're lucky to even get a days worth out of. Good range of features, I really like the bookmark feature.Good price too, and this is a sony product which you pay a premium for, now go back to the early 90s and buy something like this and you would be paying over 100 bucks, trust me I know I was a product of the 80s after all.So if you're looking for something that is a cheap alternitive to an ipod, and has much better sound quality(recomending use of good quality headphones for best results) Pick one of these up, and you're also getting a good deal since as car kit is thrown in.
